Your new company
Based in Wigan this leading specialist manufacturing business have seen continued growth year on year over recent times. An award winning business within it's field it is now developing other revenue streams and arms to the organisation.

Your new role
As Financial Controller you shall provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis to track performance and make optimal business decisions. Along with analytics and insight to help drive business decisions, you shall work alongside the MD and FD and be an integral part of the finance function. With ownership over detailed budgets and forecasting you shall lead the preparation and coordination of all financial reporting requirements and deliver in the areas of cost accounting, stock management, cash flow management, fixed assets, financial reporting, tax compliance, and other areas of general accounting concern. Seeking to deliver changes to process and procedure in order to enhance the business you shall also be part of a new system selection and implementation of a new accounts package due to take place over the coming 18 months. A keen business partner you shall also work closely with the production and manufacturing departments in order to deliver strategic direction through effective financial reporting.

What you'll need to succeed
You shall have a minimum of five years of progressive Finance experience in a manufacturing environment, fully conversant with UK statutory reporting requirements you shall also have a detailed knowledge of stock management and producing details MI packs in order to drive the business from a commercial perspective. A qualified accountant (CIMA ACA ACCA) you shall also have experience of working to tight reporting deadlines.
