Integration Lead - Permanent - Cheshire Integration Lead Essential Experience / Skills:- 8+ Years of professional experience architecting, developing, & launching software products. 3-5 years of experience leading & mentoring successful engineering teams. Experience of Mulesoft Anypoint Platform. Hands-on programming experience & expertise on enterprise software integration technologies such as Java, WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON. Strong understanding of API protocols & technologies. Practical experience with continuous integration tooling such as Jenkins & the use of build automation & dependency management tools: Apache Maven (preferred), Apache Ant/Ivy or Gradle. Experience of full software development lifecycle experience using Agile / DevOps concepts. A commitment to delivering releases on schedule. Dedication to a collaborative working style & the ability to work well in small teams, both onshore & offshore. Thrive on solving problems. Experience of Test Driven development. Linux (Windows experience also considered). Management & integration to Database & Big Data technology (Hadoop, SQL Server, ORM, JPA2, Hibernate). Cloud Technologies (Amazon AWS). Automation (Chef, Cloud Formation, Puppet). Monitoring Solutions (Zabbix, Cloudwatch). Testing (Junit, Selenium, SonarQube). Issue, Change & Requirements Management (Jira). Source Code Management (BitBucket , GitHub). Understanding of Microservices. Integration Lead - Implementing integration solutions, writing automation code, test automation scripts & delivering business logic to contribute to end to end solutions. - Accountable for delivering integration essentials, adaptive integration concepts such as cloud integration, API integration technologies, applying excellent analytical skills & a taste for good engineering & delivery of clean interfaces. - Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle. - Ensure designs deliver against specifications. - Key support & contribution to the end-to-end ownership of the platforms. - Aligning to DevOps principles & end-to-end ownership, all members of the Consumer Performance team may be involved in resolving incidents / technical issues outside of normal working hours, while this is rare, all members of the team may be required to be available as part of resolution & be on an On Call Rota. - Contribute to evolving toolsets, simplification of software development lifecycle & drive towards efficient automation. - Participation in project scoping, requirements reviews, & technical discovery efforts. - Applying effective software engineering principles, object design, security, data interchange & data management to all parts of software lifecycle. Integration Lead Team Development Mentoring & coaching the development team. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternative approaches & technologies & presenting these for architectural review. Align Integration development to the DevOps based software development life cycle with automation in mind. Ownership & responsibility for Integration Coding standards, code review process & ensuring compliance. Lead team to collaborate & contribute to Architectural design decisions.
