Position: Finance Controller
Location: Leeds
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

You'll be ideal for this role if you are keen to join a high growth scale up with a challenging, fast-paced and fun working environment. You will be able bring a strategic perspective and at the same time strong hands-on controllership. You will experience an unusual breadth of tasks as we journey from an early revenue startup to a global brand.

Key responsibilities will include:
implementation and maintenance of all controls/processes/procedures and reporting
Preparation of management and financial accounts and responsibility for all areas of transactional finance (AP/AR/credit control/bank/payroll/ VAT)
Work closely with the founding team on financial modelling and assisting the team to maximise growth and financial efficiency across the business
Supervise the outsourced payroll provider and accountants and deal with all tax matters
Work with founding team and our bankers on trade finance and our supply chain
Update and maintain business KPIs
Assist with the Company Secretarial duties
Work alongside external auditors
Assist with VC investor relations
In time, recruiting and building a finance team to work with you

About you:
Qualified accountant
Experience of working within a high growth start up / high-tech manufacturing or the ability to demonstrate your keen interest
Hands-on controller who displays a high level of commercial acumen
Comfortable with Excel and SaaS applications
Demonstrably excellent verbal and written communication skills
Currently live in the UK with permission to work in the UK. We're not taking overseas applications at present.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Candidate who is needing to be suited to a fast-paced environment. Where they can come in and set up the process and run it through-and be used to changes in the team and the culture. They will be reporting to you and use to a team of around 15.
