About the job

The Field Service Engineer job involves the installation, maintenance, upgrade and servicing of ASP equipment within hospitals. You will work alongside the Sales Development Manager, with whom you will communicate to understand the location and timelines of customers? needs around the servicing and installation of the STERRAD equipment. You will also be partly responsible for customer training.

As a Field Service Engineer you will communicate with Regional Technical Service Manager for communication and direction, EMEA Technical support team for discussion and resolution of key issues, and other Field Service Engineers for routine communications. In addition to customers you will also liaise with suppliers and equipment manufacturers.

Our ideal candidate

We are looking for our Field Service Engineer to have:

  • A combination of extensive Mechanical and Electronic Engineering experience ? essential
  • Excellent experience in a field based technical service/engineering role ? essential
  • Healthcare / medical products experience - essential

What else is useful:

  • BSc in Physics / Electronics / Technical Engineering - preferred
  • Strong technical ability including IT, Networking, Electronic theory, basic grasp of Physics
  • Knowledge of working operation of equipment, computer skills including Microsoft office and database skills.
  • Understanding of ISO standards
