The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Child Panel Member to join our clients` thriving practice in East London. As part of a highly specialised team, the successful Lawyer will manage a full and varied caseload consisting predominantly of public Children Act proceedings from instruction to final hearings to include attendance at PLOs, EPO hearings and special guardianship application hearings. The ideal Lawyer will also supervise junior members of the team and assist with business development activities for the department and firm as a whole. The Candidate You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with solid experience in Children and Family law. You must possess additional LAA Child Panel Membership with strong working knowledge of Legal Aid requirements. You will be a skilled advocate with the ability to handle a demanding caseload with minimal supervision. You will possess excellent client care and communication skills across all levels.
