Outstanding Wolverhampton secondary school are looking for a qualified Biology teacher for a long term maternity cover starting in January. The role will be the lead of biology for the science department. The school who have an established history of providing outstanding education for their pupils. The school are looking for a qualified Biology specialist who is able to teach the national curriculum to key stage 5. The school are also looking for someone with management experience to also take the lead for biology within the science department. The role involves teaching full time to key stage 5 and the planning, preparation and marking and also department meetings are a vital part of this role.
To be successful in this role you need to be a qualified teacher and told qualified teacher status. They are also looking for a candidate who is a biology specialist and is able to teach to top set key stage 5. The role will also involve some leadership responsibilities, so existing experience would be beneficial.
