Capel Manor College is London?s only specialist college for natural studies and an internationally renowned learning resource for those interested in Horticulture, Animal Management, Saddlery, Arboriculture, Floristry, Garden Design, Countryside and the Environment.
We are now looking to recruit a number of Learning Support Assistants for the 2017/18 academic year to be based at our Enfield campus.
You would be supporting students with a variety of learning needs to access the curriculum and college life. These are varied and rewarding roles for candidates who are equally comfortable supporting students to access classroom based learning one lesson, and practical landscaping or animal management activities the next!
Ideally you will have experience of working with students with disabilities and learning difficulties and/or knowledge of one or more of our vocational areas. There are a range of progression options at Capel Manor and we have an excellent track record of Learning Support Assistants progressing to specialist support or teaching roles within the College. You will be able to access a comprehensive CPD programme.
Casual posts for either 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week x 36 weeks. (term time only) Salary for casual posts is £11.01 per hour which includes payment for annual leave.
