2nd Line Service Desk Analyst - Contract - North West My client is looking to bring on board a 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst to work on a 3 to 6 months contract basis. The 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst will need to have experience of answering call and emails with regards to queries relating to Oracle Financials 11i. The 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst will need to have experience of Warehouse Management module of Oracle Financials and one of the following modules:- AR, AP, OM, WMS, GL, FA, INV, PUR, CRM The 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst will have experience in the support of Oracle Applications release 11i. Provide primary support to internal customers (2nd Line) by resolving inquiries by phone, e-mail and web, in a manner and time frame consistent with department and team service levels and goals. Document all case issues, progress and record resolution in our service desk system. Create and update knowledge base documents, case studies, internal documentation. Work collaboratively with internal customers, team members, consultants, and resources across the company to achieve desired results. Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and interpret customer / business needs and determine appropriate action. Motivate customers and manage expectations relative to new releases and resolution of issues. Following system familiarisation, perform customer data fixes using SQL and PL/SQL statements. Superior troubleshooting and analysis /resolution skills. Strong customer focus and ability to manage and exceed customer expectations. Excellent written and oral skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, complex issues. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office products. Experience in writing and interpreting Oracle SQL & PL/SQL scripts. Desirable skills Software Testing Experience. Knowledge of Oracle APEX Forms.
