A superb career opportunity for an experienced Product Manager has been created at an exciting new microfluidics 'lab-on-chip' life science technology company based in Oxfordshire. This is an important and strategic role. Working with key members of the senior management team, the Product Manager direct the development of their products in their Genomics and/or Proteomics line. They will define product strategy, product offerings and oversee the development of the products throughout the full product lifecycle. This will include capturing product requirements and translating them into product specifications and well as having oversight of internal applications development, systems integration and product validation activities..

This exciting new technology spin-out company is set to revolutionise the life science, healthcare and biotech sectors. Their novel microfluidics platform can automate tests currently conducted by traditional test tube methods and in the process offers unprecedented control, speed, accuracy and flexibility. The technology has exciting potential and as such has significant financial backing from its international parent company to bring the technology to market.

To be considered for the role of Product Manager - Life Science Technologies you need the following:

  • A degree in Science or Engineering
  • Experience of full scientific or high technology product development lifecycle.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a commercially focussed role in the life sciences / diagnostics industry such as molecular biology, biochemistry or genetics.
  • An excellent understanding of the Genomics and/or Proteomics Market and its applications.
