IT Support Analyst / Engineer required by well-established Managed IT Service Provider based in Moira, Derbyshire with frequent travel to customer sites in West / East Midlands. Competitive salary package depending on skills and experience offered including company car, phone and pension. Established for over 20 years, we supply a range of IT solutions including end user computing, networking infrastructure and telephony as well as data, cloud and security systems to our client base in West / East Midlands. We now have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and proactive IT Support Analyst / Engineer to join our friendly team assisting our clients with hardware and software problems and service requests via phone, email and in person on site. This is a diverse, exciting and challenging role with access to work on multiple and varied desktop and server platforms, infrastructures and applications. It is a great opportunity for the right candidate to gain invaluable knowledge and experience in a company that offers career progression to the ambitious and motivated candidate. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment, you will be able to demonstrate strong customer focus when dealing with the end user and have a minimum of 18 months commercial experience with IT equipment installation, configuration and support. Responsibilities: -Provide technical support via telephone, email, remote control sessions and onsite -Install and configure complex IT systems, including servers, enterprise systems, -Support of core business systems and applications and at the network level including: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security. Windows Server, Exchange, SQL Server, Small Business Server, etc. Networks, voice, and connectivity to the Internet. Photocopier and printers. -Timely turnaround of customer requests and faults within agreed service levels. -Escalate service or project issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels. Skills and Experience -Significant previous hands on commercial experience with IT equipment installation, configuration and support. -Advanced knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems -Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft MCP, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP. -Customer focus and experience on dealing with the end user. -Excellent diagnosis, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. -A full UK driving license - Essential.
