The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the post holder will work as part of a small team assisting with the day to day transactional accounting activities.

More specific duties will involve:

Processing credit and sales invoices, ensuring accurate and efficient records in the Sales and Purchase Ledger.

Referring to Client/Supplier contracts with high attention to detail.

Liaising closely with management to ensure Credit and Sales Ledger is accurate and to date.

Credit Control to international clients including monthly reporting

Bank Reconciliations and Cash Allocations

Preparing Client Invoices and Monthly Statements

Recording and approving Expenses for Employee and Contractors

Proactive problem solving - resolving diverse payments queries via internal and external clients.

General Administration and support to Finance Manager

Support CEO and wider team in tasks that may arise

Qualification and Experience:


Good organisational, strong numerical and literacy skills are essential.

Advanced level of competency using Microsoft Office Applications including Excel
and Word

Accustomed to meeting tight deadlines, and an ability to prioritise a varied workload
based on the demands of the team and the accounting schedule while meeting the
demands of the client.

Confidence working with internal and external clients of all levels and cultures

Proven ability to make a judgment and work on own initiative, when to consult
others and act on information

Proven high level of attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal skills in communicating professionally

A team player who is able to assist in the smooth running of the finance department
and help other departments when needed.

The successful applicant will have experience in a similar role within a busy office


Preferably, a relevant third level qualification with substantial emphasis on Business,
Administration or Finance

Experience using accounting systems such as Sage, Sap, Quickbooks etc. and creating

VAT Return experience

Payroll experience

Having worked within a financial or admin support role is of benefit
