Product Design Engineer - Electronics - North Hampshire
Our client is a UK based Medical Device (ISO 13485 accredited) company with a strong track record of growth. They have expanded and penetrated new markets even while operating in a space with larger competition, due to their dynamic approach, market-leading robust products and ambitious product development pipeline.

They are a privately owned manufacture with products exported globally and a big focus on R&D, as such they are now seeking to hire a Product Engineer / Design Engineer with electronics expertise to join their expanding team of experts in North Hampshire.
Our client designs, develops and distributes market robust complex class II/IIb medical devices and has an excellent product pipeline.

Salary:
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum plus competitive benefits package - candidates seeking more or less will also be considered depending on alignment to position.

Product Engineer / Electronics Design Engineer - Medical Devices (ISO 13485)

Location:
North Hampshire - commutable from locations such as Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester, Reading, Guildford, Newbury, Andover, Basingstoke, Farnborough, Woking, Bracknell, M3 corridor, Surrey, Oxfordshire and Berkshire

Job role:
Reporting to the Product Director, the successful Design Engineer / Medical Device / Electronic Engineer will be assisting the company in the development of new products and maintaining design of existing products. You will be involved in product design from concept through prototype to full production.

The Product Engineer will be running hardware development projects involving electronics design and will be supporting the team during system testing - running test protocols, investigating and resolving issues and reporting results.
Essential applicant requirements:
- Must reside locally to North Hampshire for a daily commute - office based role (or willing to relocate with relative ease)
- Must have an electronics degree of other relevant degree and combined experience
- Strong working experience of electronics and systems
- Medical Device / ISO 13485 experience
- Schematic / PCB CAD design experience
- Test and hardware debugging skills
- Attention to detail
- Proactive nature
- Excellent communication and project management skills

Desirable experience:
- Experience of ECG monitoring and digital Signal processing
