The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for providing maintenance support to the plant and ensure that the equipment is reliable and working optimally to improve plant performance. The role will also involve preventative maintenance and assistance with breakdowns to prevent lines shutting down.

The Maintenance Engineer's duties will include:

* Maintaining high quality electrical and mechanical installations, repairs and maintenance to the Plant and Building Fabric
* Planning and completing a range of planned maintenance works associated with electrical & mechanical engineering
* Complete proactive inspections, any required remedial repairs and act reactively to breakdowns to prevent the line going down and manufacturing time being lost
* Monitor and manage equipment operations via SCADA systems
* Offer assistance with any maintenance projects such as removal or installation of equipment

The successful Maintenance Engineer will have:

* Experience of working in a production environment
* Knowledge of plcs such as Siemens, Toshiba & Allan Bradley
* Used AC/DC drives
* A working knowledge of SCADA systems

The hours of work are 40 per week, based on rotational shifts.
