Purchase Ledger Clerk / Assistant, Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire

We are a leading supplier of feed supplements to the Agricultural Industry with well-known brands and a growing market share

Based in Burton-upon-Trent, the role is commutable from Derby, Nottingham, Stoke on Trent etc

We currently have a vacancy for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team

Responsibilities will include all work associated with the Accounts Payable function including:

* Processing invoices and credit notes
* Resolving queries
* Payments via BACS, cheque or online
* Bank reconciliations
* VAT reports
* Intrastat
* Employee expenses

The successful candidate will have:

* Experience in a similar role
* Knowledge of accounting principles
* Excellent communication and telephone skills
* Be computer literate with good Excel skills
* Capable of consistent accuracy in the input of data under pressure
