Service Desk Analyst / 1st Line Support / IT Customer Service

This is a permanent role for a Service Desk Analyst / 1st Line Support Analyst to join an existing service desk team, in Harrogate.

As the Service Desk Analyst, you would be the first point of contact for the receipt, action and coordination of service requests and incidents;

  • Provide professional 1st line support on behalf of the IT function
  • Effectively record all incidents ensuring resolution
  • Perform hands-on fixes, including installations, upgrades and configurations
  • Assist 2nd and 3rd line support where required
  • Create high quality, clear documentation for both internal and external use
  • Use all resources available to improve customer experience

The Service Desk Analyst role requires;

  • Experience of working within an IT Service Desk or 1st Line Support role
  • Significant customer service experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with customers, end users and staff across the company
  • Microsoft ? Word, Excel, Outlook
  • ITIL
