About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Power Transmission & Distribution business.

Based across the UK, this role will report into the Operations Administration Resources Manager and work on one of our projects.

What you'll be doing

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

* The delivery of the Power T&D business strategy and objectives on your project(s)
* Supporting the Senior Project Manager/Project Manager in managing commercial and business risks to achieve targets
* Understanding the relevant commercial terms and conditions for your project.
* Supporting the Senior Project Manager/ Project Manager to proactively manage the customer relationship during delivery, including change and decision making to effectively manage expectations
* Supporting the Senior Project Manager / Project Manager in leadership of Zero Harm and drive for continuous improvement across SHEQ

Who we're looking for
You will have:

* Experience of supporting delivery of Delivery of Overhead Line, Cabling or Substation schemes up to 400kV.
* Knowledge and experience of Project Management methodology
* Strong People Management
* Commercial awareness with knowledge of both budgetary and Financial control
* Excellent relationship management skills
