i-teachers is on the search for a recent Physics graduate, who may be considering a career in teaching and wants to gain paid experience in a school based setting before applying for teacher training in 2018.

The ideal candidate is an ambitious graduate with a true passion to inspire future generations in your love for science. You must feel that your excellent subject knowledge can contribute to the students achieving excellent A Level results within a Teaching Assistant role

Teaching Assistant - GCSE & A Level Physics Department

  • Science Degree - Physics
  • Graduate with 2:1 or above
  • Bradford based role
  • Ongoing training and support
  • Earn up to £300 per week

To be considered for any of our roles you must have a 2:1 degree in Physics, and a real passion for working with young people, as well as a resilient nature. Your role would enable you to work with small groups and on a one to one basis supporting learners in their Science education. In return, you will receive guidance, training and support from the Head of Science and their team to help you at the start of your career as a Science Teacher.

You will have the opportunity to work with higher ability GCSE and A Level students, who may be keen to pursue Science or Physics at University level. You will design your own tutorials, with the guidance of the Science teaching team, and deliver to students 1:1 or in small groups.

This is a really exciting opportunity to gain paid experience in a Science Department before going onto a PGCE or Schools Direct Programme next year.
