Finance Assistant job in Glasgow to fulfil a 12 month fixed term contract Your new company Our client, a well respected community based organisation, has a job opportunity for a Finance Administrator to support their growing finance team in Glasgow with a range of administrative duties. Your new role As a Finance Administrator you will assist the Head of Finance with implementing the organisations' key financial processes and will be responsible for ensuring a quality finance service. Your duties will include invoicing, assisting with supplier queries, Bacs payments, purchase ledger payments, maintaining cash books, payment of rent and clerical support for Corporate Services. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one years' experience working in a similar varied finance role. You must be a numerate individual with an ability to analyse and summarise data as well as possessing excellent IT skills (Microsoft packages are essential, while knowledge of the SDM recording system would be desirable). Experience working within a team and delivering excellent customer services is imperative as well as experience with general office practices.
