The Role:

This position will involve working in the digital division of a globally successful company which is responsible for 7 customer facing applications, used by millions of people. You'll be working in the newest, coolest office in Glasgow City Centre that has cost over £100m to build.

As a Senior Web Developer you'll be involved in agile software development projects. You'll be working with a very modern technology stack in a fast moving industry that is adopting an array of emerging web technologies

Most of your time will be spent coding, but you'll be getting involved in design decisions, and will spend time working closely with UX/UI designers.

And remember that commitment to innovation? Every Friday afternoon you will stop what you're doing and work on side projects that interest you and your team. Some of these are just to experiment with a new technology, others will be to explore ways that you can disrupt the market.

About You:

You'll have commercial experience of Web Development with strong, clean JavaScript programming skills.

You'll have exposure to various technologies relevant to modern web development. Think ECMAscript6, React, Redux Angular, NodeJS, TypeScript.

You're happy to work with your team/stakeholders and define the required functionalities

You'll have experience of Agile Methodologies

You're keen to use modern technologies, challenge yourself on large projects, and interested in spending some time in R&D to work with emerging technologies.
