Graduate Teaching Assistant- Person Specification

The head teacher of this welcoming Sheffield Primary school is searching for a resilient and empathetic core subject graduate to join their school as a teaching assistant. You must have graduated from university with a 2:1 or higher from university and have real passion for pursuing a career in education. Any previous experience working with children is preferable however not essential.

Graduate Teaching Assistant- Job Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be working across KS1 Ks2 in particular supporting disadvantaged and SEN children with general literacy and numeracy skills both inside and outside the classroom. You will be working closely with the class teachers and supporting them in the planning, preparation and delivery of lessons. You are also expected to make a contribution to the schools highly regarded enrichment programme whether that be through sports, music or dram ain particular.
