ICT Field Support Engineer Monday to Friday, mostly 9-5 with flexibility - some out of hours work, could start later if working later - Providing technical support remotely and on-site to customers across a wide geographical area - from Teeside to Cumbria and up to Scottish borders - Mainly servicing GP surgeries, CCGs, NECS - Essential knowledge = Sophos - Sophos anti-virus software causes problems with other software being used, particularly updates - the primary focus of this role is to resolve these errors - Taking down information of error from customer - Logging onto system remotely - aiming to create a fix at first point of contact via remote log on - If unsuccessful, site visit will be required - Error might not actually be Sophos, and so additional desktop support knowledge required - The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the timely resolution of incidents and fulfilment of customer requests, in accordance with standard operational procedures and agreed performance criteria - To provide consistent high quality technical support services to the customer base. - NHS experience ideal although not essential - Desktop engineer experience essential - Must have own car
