Harvey Nash's client is looking to bring on board a talented PPC Executive to be based out of their Edinburgh City centre office on a permanent basis to join their vibrant marketing team as it continues to grow. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and analytical digital marketing professional to take ownership of PPC and display campaigns across a number of exciting brands across FMCG markets. You will analyse and report on performance and also be involved in the strategic review and improvement of their paid marketing activities whilst managing the day-to-day running of campaigns.



The role:



You will manage the day-to-day operation of the in-house PPC and display campaigns across a number of FMCG brands, whilst making sure all paid search campaigns are up-to-date as part of an integrated marketing plan for the company brands. You will be responsible for looking after a £1 million annual digital marketing budget to achieve target CPAs and sales targets whilst liaising with internal teams, creative agencies and account managers at Google.



Continually review advert and landing page performance and experiment with alternatives to improve performance to increase click through rate (CTR) and quality score to lower cost of per click (CPC) as you analyse and report on campaign performance. Create weekly and monthly reports with feedback and suggestions for improvements. As you keep up to date with competitor activity and assess the impact of competitor offers and marketing campaigns on our performance.



About you:



Ideally with a degree in Marketing or similar with some exposure to working in a marketing role, preferably within an ecommerce or Agency background but other backgrounds will be considered as well. You will be able to demonstrate a track record in PPC management which would include optimisations techniques and bid management.



You will be have knowledge of Google Analytics and Adworks (maybe even certified) and be able to demonstrate how you analysis and research on campaigns with your reporting skills. Along with excellent communication skills and able to work well as part of a team, it would be very desirable if you have had exposure with other paid marketing solutions including Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn etc.
