Prestigious law firm recruiting a Legal Float PA/Secretary for their establishment based in Altrincham.

A well established Legal Law Firm in Altrincham are currently looking for a Float Legal PA/Secretary to join and support the company and various departments.
Your new role
You will provide a High quality PA/Secretarial service to the Firm and its fee earners working within various departments and supporting various colleagues alike - with responsibilities including:-
Produce high quality documents and ensure files are maintained.
Formatting and amending documents.
Audio typing using the digital dictation system.
Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.
Carry out money laundering and other relevant online searches.
Deal with enquiries from clients via email, fax and letter.
Use a diary management system to arrange meetings and make appointments.
Preparing bills and ensuring up to date narratives are obtained and logged onto the system, drawing cheques, dealing with expenses and handling accounts queries.
Use a document management system to track, manage and store appropriate documentation.
Arrange travel itineraries.
Copy and scan, including preparation of large files.
General administration work on behalf of fee earners and carrying out legal assistant work as required.
Provide reception cover as required.
Promote and comply with legislation and policies on equal opportunities and health and safety both in the delivery of services and the treatment of others.
Identify and undertake training and development as required in order to meet personal and business needs.
Undertake any other reasonable duties, commensurate with the level of the post so as to ensure the smooth running of organisation..
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have previous experience within the Legal Secretarial/PA field coupled with excellent interpersonal, organisational, verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work to deadlines you will be able to multitask with strong organisational skills able to carried out work. Flexible and adaptable able to react to change and adapt accordingly.
Fast and accurate keyboard skills you will be able to both copy and audio type documentation.
You will possess excellent computer literacy being confident in MS Office packages.
BIGHAND experience in an advantage but not essential.
What you'll get in return
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9-5.30pm, Friday 9-5.00pm.
22 days holidays (plus 3 Christmas Days)
Plus one extra day of holiday for each calender year of service (after the first 3 calender years of service)
