Job description: Core-Asset Consulting's client, a global financial services firm, is looking for an Operations Manager - NAV to join their team in Glasgow on a permanent basis. The purpose of the role us to ensure all aspects of NAV production and Control are co-ordinated and completed in a timely and accurate manner as required. Core requirements: Extensive Fund Administration experience gained in financial services or an outsourced provider. Knowledge of the regulatory environment relating to investment management and in particular settlement operations People management experience Core responsibilities: To ensure that NAV Production is completed on a daily basis in line with valuation point frequency agreed for each fund. Liaise with Statutory Reporting team to ensure that cost sheets are supplied on time Liaising with Transfer Agency team & pricing platforms, ensuring the NAV prices are delivered Provide technical guidance and review on complex asset types. Perform all OTC Derivative and complex valuation related support processes, including review and design of processes, reporting anomalies to the relevant line manager and within agreed timescales. To support the change management programme and where relevant, actively manage the development and delivery of changes to operational and systems infrastructure. Take responsibility for oversight of the team ensuring that all team tasks are documented and completed to deadline and that reconciling items are resolved within appropriate timescales Supporting senior management in ensuring that systems, processes and controls are in place and are fit for purpose Provide technical assistance to the change management programme relevant to your area and actively manage the development and delivery of changes to operational and systems infrastructure Prepare accurate and comprehensive management information within the timescales agreed Ensure that all dealings with internal / external clients are conducted professionally and that requests are dealt with in a timely and effective manner and takes responsibility to resolve Lead by example displaying strong values and beliefs and a commitment to encouraging individuals to put the client at the front of everything that they do Complete regular assessments of individuals and provides regular feedback to them on their performance and behaviours, recognising both strengths and areas for development and providing appropriate training, coaching and support Ensure that all interactions with clients and third parties are conducted in an open and transparent manner Job reference: 10109 To apply for this vacancy applicants must be eligible to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
