Tech: 1st Line Support, SQL, Excel

Challenge: Working within the Support Team providing software support and basic training to users of Intelligent Office

Pay: £30k+ Bonus

Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Support Analyst to join our high profile client.

Our client is a well-known global financial software business providing risk management to financial services firms. No experience of finance is needed but much can be gained.

The successful Support Analyst will have demonstrated technical achievement working with SQL and Excel, knowledge of Intelligent Office functionality and customer service. The role involves Help Desk support- to process support emails and help clients and logging calls on internal system.

This position requires close collaboration with the Support Team providing software support and basic training to users of Intelligent Office.

The Support Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Investigating and resolving queries and making sure of its completion
  • Helpdesk support- answering support calls from clients
  • Logging calls on internal system,
  • Working with relevant teams on the solution queries
  • Testing new software functionality
  • Working with Account Management team to improve business process and client liaison
  • Assisting with remote telephone training for new users, when applicable.
  • General administrative duties
Support Analyst MUST have:

    SQLExcelKnowledge of ‘Splunk’Helpdesk support experience- although candidates with strong experience in other support areas will be considered.Previous finance experience is an advantageExcellent Customer serviceAttention to detailExcellent telephone mannerCommunication skills- oral and written
