Project Manager- specialising in Mobile Applications and Web services. Up to £45,000 plus further benefits.

Sanderson Recruitment is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager with digital and mobile application expertise to work for our nationally acclaimed and award winning Mobile App Consultancy based in central Bristol. You will guide, offer assurance and dictate best practice to project sponsors and clients. You will also provide centralised performance reporting for all projects, facilitate the Quality Assurance process and act as a central liaison point between the business areas operations and project & programme delivery/ governance.

Reporting in to the Head of Operations, this role will take responsibility for the end to end project delivery of multi sized Mobile Application/Web based solutions, keeping governance and customer impact as a priority. You will produce and plan delivery, effectively identifying, documenting and managing project risks and also manage the digital content. You will also manage project complexities and risk adhering to the constraints of the agreed budget whilst aiming to reduce project lifecycles, get value for money and augment quality.

Experience with in: Agile, Mobile Applications, Digital, Web Technologies, Web Services, Onsite/Client advisory are all preferable.

Due to the transformational state of this current business, we are looking for candidates who are experienced in defining and driving new strategies and methodologies, as well as merely following them. You therefore, in your CV should be able to successfully demonstrate your ability to:
  • Manage the project activities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the sponsor using the Change Management Methodology, including defining the approach and milestone dates.
  • Identify and secure internal and external resources required to successfully execute the project. Build a high performing team with the right blend of skills for the work.
  • Become a trusted advisor to the project sponsor and key stakeholders, communicating true status in an appropriate form, proposing well thought out actions to address issues and risks, and balancing cost/risk of scope changes against benefit
  • Lead the shaping of the project, contributing ideas and optimising scope to achieve the business objectives. Challenge existing thinking through the ability to see the bigger picture
  • Provide visibility of project progress against budget and schedule, in a format suitable for sponsor and steering group audiences, enabling informed decisions
  • Manage project budget in conjunction with Financial Management and the Project Sponsor and seek ways to reduce project cost and increase or bring forward benefits.
