What will the role involve?

Working “in the field” with a caseload of learners you’ll manage your own diary and work a 37.5 hour week, with occasional evening work as determined by the needs of your learners. You will inspire, train and support learners to successfully complete their apprenticeships, through coaching, face to face discussions, remote assessments, and use of internet learning solutions.

As a forward thinking organisation, our Coaches deliver apprenticeship programmes to a wide range of businesses. To succeed in this role you might be an existing Trainer or Coach, or you perhaps are a team leader or manager working in the Fishmongery, Bakery and Hospitality sector. Using your experience you will coach and help inspire learners to realise their potential as you support and guide them through their training, preparing them for assessments and exams. You will be required to visit Employers where your learners are based and deliver a professional, high quality service, underpinned by the need to meet quality procedures set by the awarding body.

Have you got what it takes?

First and foremost you need to have a passion for what you do. You should have relevant and recent Fishmongery, Bakery and Hospitality experience, ideally at a Supervisory level and have experience of offering advice and information ideally in a training environment. You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and encourage people. You will be on your feet and out and about so lots of energy, enthusiasm, and the willingness to travel are required and a driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential.
