They currently have a number of exciting opportunities for Dispensing Assistants across England, Scotland and Wales. Reporting to the Pharmacist Manager, your overall responsibility will be to participate in the whole dispensing process.

The role will also involve establishing and developing long term relationships with customers ensuring to always deliver courteous and effective customer service. You will be required to assist in the delivery of all commercial pharmacy services where appropriate, including blood pressure measuring and weight management.

In this role you will be required to complete administrative records, and ensure that these records are adequately maintained. You will effectively manage pharmaceutical stock and equipment, including the administration of receiving, storing, maintaining and issuing. You may be required to deliver healthcare advice and signpost where necessary.
To be employed as a dispensing assistant, you need a minimum of an accredited Level 2 certificate in dispensing. Their company policy requires that you also have an accredited Medicine Counter Assistant certificate.

The successful applicant for this role will be required to:
Have the appropriate qualifications or;
Have a level 2 certificate in dispensing and be willing to be enrolled onto an MCA course on commencement of employment
