Based in Liverpool City Centre - £21,000
Monday to Friday 08:45am - 5:00pm

This role is based in one of the most bespoke building in Liverpool City Centre. Working for Liverpool`s Number One Employer! The role will be to join an extremely well known global business in the FMCG Market. I am seeking a highly efficient Technical Executive to join a vibrant team and grow with the business as they continuously expand.

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Technical Account Manager, the role has the responsibility to complete work and projects that relate to customer KPI`s, complaints analysis, food safety & product quality for the business and third party manufactured finished goods supplied to UK retailers and into food service and industrial customers. In addition you will need to provide support in the maintenance of customer technical systems as well as to help in the response to retail customer queries.

The role provides support to the Technical Account Managers and Technical Controller.

DIMENSIONS

- Internally: liaison across all technical functions within business, NPD, buying and operations.
- Externally: liaison directly with customers and suppliers as required, as well as attending customer visits/meetings in support of the technical team.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Prepare KPI reports using specific customer formats.
- Support the Technical Account Manager in the day to day technical management of retailer and food service accounts.
- Assist in the management of quality issues where required, both externally with suppliers and customers, and internally with various functions to ensure speedy and satisfactory resolution.
- Carry out consumer complaints reporting for specific retailers.
- Communicate customer Codes of Practice to supplier factories as required.
- Draft customer documents relating to specifications, quality and food safety.
- Upload and close out compliance actions on customer-specific websites.
- Provide administrative support to the Technical Accounts team.
- Participate in product assessment and product development activities.
- Assist in the preparation of and follow up to customer factory inspections/audits.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- At least A` levels or equivalent, ideally science-based.
- Computer literate, including excel, word and PowerPoint.
- Experience of working within food manufacturing would be beneficial.
- An understanding of HACCP and basic food safety training.
- Experience of drafting formal documents.
- Previous experience of generating reports is preferred.
- Previous experience of factory inspections and audits would be beneficial.
- Analysis and interpretation skills.
- Communication and relationship building skills.
- Ability to prepare and give presentations.
