Strategy & Transformation Manager (Mortgages)

As a Barclays Strategy & Transformation Manager, you will have responsibility for supporting strategic development, and embedding transformational change activity related to Mortgages, in full compliance with regulatory requirements.

You and the team support the Head of Strategy & Transformation, Head of Mortgages and the Mortgages Council through transformation, build, implementation and value realisation, as well as working collaboratively across the Mortgage Family to steer the direction and output of the programmes and projects that deliver within Barclays UK Mortgages

As a Strategy & Transformation Manager, your main responsibilities will involve:
* Finding ways to lead the market, not follow. To future proof the business and to create amazing colleague and customer experiences
* Owning, embedding and delivering projects and initiatives delivering customer, colleague and operational benefit
* Being an advocate for the learning needs of our colleagues when change is being delivered to them ensuring that all capability interventions focus specifically on our colleagues development needs
* Identifying, testing and implementing new ideas, propositions and processes to deliver improvements for colleagues and customers

As a Lead Strategy & Transformation Manager, your skills and qualifications will include:
* Strong understanding of analytics, use of data, driving practical interventions and measuring results
* Excellent experience in MS Office- PowerPoint / Word / Excel / Visio and MS Project
* Good verbal and written communication skills, with excellent relationship building with internal and external stakeholders and the ability to influence and drive change at all levels
* Proven continuous improvement and change management skills and comfortable with detail and accuracy and the ability to understand business problems and concepts and translate into practical outcomes
