Job - A finance assistant required ASAP in Brighton within a well established educational organisation, £18k
Your new role:
To work as part of the Finance team and ensure the operation of effective and accurate financial processes and systems. The key part of this role is to review and analyse data from Sage 200 and ensure that all reconciliations are accurately documented.
The work will be varied and consist of providing financial information, creating and maintaining all sales, purchase and balance sheet ledgers as well as liaising with other businesses. You will also support other team members in preparing the weekly banking, petty cash, and staff expenses as well as managing the payment runs for BACS transfers.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working within a high volume financial environment
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 200
- Extra attention to detail
- An ability to consistently complete tasks with a high level of accuracy
You'll need to adhere to the teams' strong commitment to confidentiality and you must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
