Digital Payments Lead – mobile, product, operations

A leading global payments company have a fantastic new role for a Digital Payments Lead to come on board and pay a critical role in the product development of a new business area focusing on product communications, product requirements, testing requirements, operations, and program and project support.

This is a high visibility role within the business and the successful candidate will already have mobile processing expertise and will be looking to take their career to the next level.


  • Responsible for all product communications; including mandates, specifications, rules, and implementation guides
  • Specify and guide development of new product functionalities
  • Support issuer enablement and define testing requirements
  • Define and monitor operations metrics: compliance, data quality etc.
  • Define customer service support model
  • Provide second-level support to Issuers (With Customer Service Teams providing first-level)
  • Experience required:

  • Intellectual curiosity and bias for action
  • Resourceful, resilient, and positive under pressure
  • At least 5 years’ experience in payments, ideally with some combination of product management, operations, and acquirer/issuer onboarding experience
  • Significant experience simplifying the complex and removing barriers to execution
  • Experience working across European markets in the payments sector
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal
  • Passion for future of payments
  • Advanced degree preferred, but not essential
