In this role you will lead the engagement between projects and businesses to ensure that the impacts of new capabilities is fully understood and the organisation is equipped and prepared to implement the changes for people, customers and processes for a smooth transition to the new ways of working.

What you?ll be doing

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand the opportunities to improve business functions and end-to-end business processes. Co-ordinate and contribute to business process discussions and forums as appropriate, ensuring that where compromises are necessary they still result in solutions that will enable the business to operate efficiently and in line with customer expectations.
  • Manage the identification and capture of change impacts, developing an Action Plan to address the impacts and appropriate communication and engagement activities to ensure the business understand and are ready to adopt the changes.
  • Matrix manage Business and Project team members to ensure that each Programme capability delivers what the business requires whilst minimising exceptions to the standard solution and standardising processes across the group wherever possible.
  • Creates and manages project plans and progress updates for Organisational Change Management, in line with the requirements of a specific project or programme.
  • Lead the development of detailed adoption plans and new working procedures so that training, communication and rollout plans support successful adoption. Support UAT by ensuring Testers understand the scope of the change. Support the business in embedding the change during Early Life Support by ensuring all audiences are working in line with new ways of working and can use the solution effectively.
  • Support the business in mapping their existing roles to any system roles required by the solution. Ensure that users understand what these new roles mean for changes to ways of working.

It is expected that the post holder will have extensive demonstrable experience leading or managing business change activities in a complex business setting.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Experience of managing business change on projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence when dealing with uncertainty
  • The ability to engage and influence a broad range of stakeholders at all levels and build collaborative, engaged groups across different strands of the project
  • A detailed understanding of the complexities involved when managing inter-dependent technology and process changes to realise truly ?IT-enabled? business change
