OHLE T&C project engineer

Purpose of the Job

To assist the T&C Lead Engineer in planning and coordinating T&C activities for the OHLE systems in accordance with T&C Plans and Procedures and the ATC-jv Operational Safety Rules.

Network & Links

Knowledge / Experience

* A degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
* Relevant experience of OHLE / HV Systems, installation and/or testing & commissioning

* Coordinate the OHLE works with the OHLE Test supervisors
* Liaise with the OHLE Planning & Coordination Manager
* Liaises with the Certification engineer.
* Liaise with the WAD (Work Authorisation Document) coordinator
* Liaises with the T&C Manager

Objectives & Responsibilities

* Coordinate with the OHLE installation team to ensure a smooth transition from IRN into T&C, and take part in site inspections as relevant.
* Implement and update the latest T&C delivery programmes for the OHLE via the use of the T-12w, T-4w, T-1w and Daily Notice meetings, in cooperation with the OHLE Planning & Coordination Manager.
* Ensure that T&C activities are safe and compliant with the Health & Safety procedures and regulations within a Crossrail operational environment.
* Check the implementation of the Test Procedures and population of the Test data sheets.
* Liaise with the Certification engineer to obtain the necessary certificates (PCCs, PACs).
* Where subcontractors are appointed to deliver T&C works, support the T&C Lead engineer in managing them.
* Report progress regularly to the OHLE T&C Lead engineer and T&C Manager, and raise any warnings or issues that could affect the program of works.
* Support in producing / updating key T&C documentation
* Liaise with the WAD coordinator and supports the WAD process.
