IT Security Architect - CISSP

My client is seeking a Security Architect to be responsible for the design and delivery of IT security solutions to meet immediate and strategic security needs, meeting all functional and non-functional requirements, and the selection and use of all appropriate products and services.

As the Security Architect, you will ensure the consistent implementation and adoption of IT security solutions and the adherence to architectural principles, polices and processes. This also requires you to provide advice and assurance for the security aspects of other IT solutions across applications, platforms, infrastructure and networks.

In addition you will lead the migration from the current security solutions to a simplified, rationalised and consolidated technology landscape, enabling future change to be delivered in a controlled, flexible and agile way.

The successful Security Architect will possess the following skills and experiences:-

*Proven track record of the design and delivery of large scale IT security technologies and solutions, undertaking a senior architectural role.
*Excellent understanding of the security threats and vulnerabilities within a broad range of application, platform, infrastructure and/or network architectures and solutions.
*Emerging IT security challenge and vendor strategies for the mitigation of those security risks.
*ISO27001 and PCI security standards.
*Formal structured methodologies for solution design.
* Technical Leadership for a team of senior technical roles, providing direction and influence to ensure completion of activities.
