This client has been established for more than 20 years and is a leading supplier of lubricants, fuels and power transmission fluids providing innovative businesses solutions to keep up with the change requirements.

In this role you will be responsible for all chemical regulations and translating them into a compliance systems, assessing their implications on the business needs. You will be reporting directly into the Global Product Stewardship Manager and has the responsibility in maintaining/monitoring chemical compliance in Europe, Middle East & Africa Regions.

Responsibilities:

* Monitor, assess the regional chemical regulatory developments to key individuals
* Involvement in new product development activities
* Take on any additional responsibilities as assigned
* Accountability for maintaining chemical regulatory compliance in the EMEA region
* Support EU-REACh processes with particular regard to regional customer needs
* Update PSRC business processes to ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements:

* Relevant life science/chemical degree
* 2-3 years minimum working in the chemical industry on a regulatory capacity
* Broad knowledge and proven field experience of chemical substance regulations (e.g EU-REACh, CLP)
* Experience in supporting the chemical regulatory compliance requirements of external customers
* Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage, especially for extended-SDS authorship and Substance Volume Tracking
