Chemistry Teacher role for September 2018
Experienced and trainee Chemistry Teachers welcome
Outstanding graded & Top 5% School & Sixth Form
91% A*-C grades in Science GCSE - exceptional results
Earn Inner London MPS/UPS1 - £28,660 to £43,616 per annum
Teach and even timetable - KS3 to KS5 - 70% in chemistry
Great team ethos and highly regarded headteacher
Interviewing now due to planned expansion

This might seem excruciatingly early to be discussing September 2018 - but this Outstanding Top 5% Secondary School and Sixth Form is recruiting for an additional Chemistry Teacher due to an expansion.

The school has an amazing reputation and is massively oversubscribed at both KS3 and KS5. The school has added an additional 120 places and the additional timetable demands have been calculated. The school is lacking in natural chemists and they would love to find a chemistry teachers specialist who could really add to the skill set of the science department.

As a chemistry teacher you will be used to your strengths and you can expect at least 70% of your timetable dedicated to your subject. You will have an even working week split between all Key Stages and there will be some KS3 mixed science lessons.

The school is a top achieving and positive place of learning. The headteacher is an inspirational figure who has developed a school where teacher's voices are heard and where every cog is expected to do their part in keeping the machine moving forward.

Pupils are ready to learn and they are inducted into a culture of academic and understand what is expected of them from the very first day of entering the school. There is a collegiate feel to school and you will see that schemes such as Duke of Edinburgh & public oration develop young learners in to responsible and respectful young adults you will be expected to reflect this attitude in your interaction with all staff and pupils.

The school is looking for the very ne=best chemistry teacher in the market. If you are experienced, the school may be able to offer responsibility and a TLR, equally, if you are still in training, the school will be able to see your potential and offer you a great support network and chance to blossom.

If you would like to make a soft approach - just call Phil at i-teachers and talk in confidence about this school or any other opportunity that might suit your needs
