We are currently recruiting an opportunity for a Pharmacy Manager to take the lead role managing a busy Pharmacy in Newport.
This is a full time permanent opportunity working on a Monday-Friday basis.
The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a clinically lead environment which thrives on a busy working environment with a patient centred focus. The Pharmacy enjoys strong relationships with attached care services and professionals based in close proximity and all work in collaboration to develop patient care and services.
Previous experience of working within a Pharmacy Management role is essential for this role as well as core personal attributes which will be explored during the first stage of the interview process. The pharmacy reflects a highly professional working environment with close liaison with medical professionals and patient care at the centre of pharmacy operations.
The successful Pharmacist will take responsibility for the overall management of the pharmacy ensuring that a safe, cost effective and high quality service is provided. You will be a well rounded pharmacist; an expert in your field, ensuring the pharmacy meets operational and quality standards and complies with all legislative and regulatory requirements. You will manage a team of technically qualified pharmacy personnel in the delivery of this service ensuring that best practice is embedded across the operation
Core strengths include strong attention to detail, strong analytical skills, the ability to set clear objectives for the team whilst mentoring them to develop their skills and knowledge. An effective communicator you will be able to engage effectively with patients, clinical and medical professionals and motivate your team.
To be successful you must be able to demonstrate a real "can do" attitude and the desire and ability to work closely with your colleagues to build a successful pharmacy business.
Additional requirements are as follows:
·GPhC registered pharmacist
·Strong background within Pharmacy management
·Experience of working within a high volume dispensing environment
·Willingness and ability to train and develop your team
