My client, a well-established large family run firm are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger to join their small and friendly finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous accounts experience looking to join a reputable company!

Duties/Responsibilities;

-Daily processing of account payments

-Responding to queries from customers

-Sending invoices and monthly statements to customers including credits

-Processing any credits returned for returned merchandise

-Chasing suppliers for none stock/direct to site returns

-Processing any queries from the sales representatives

-Converting quotes into setups and applying them to customers? accounts

-Administering and following up the settlement discounts at month end

-Producing copy invoices when requested from the customer

-Opening customer/cash accounts

Candidate Attributes;

-Previous accounts experience

-Excellent organisational skills

-Team player

-Excellent customer service experience

-Previous administrative experience is desirable but not essential

-Be a quick learner

Hours- Monday to Friday ? 8.30am-5pm

Salary- Up to £20,000
