Data Engineer, Automotive, Diagnostics

The Company

A Data Engineer is required to join an exciting new automotive technology company. The startup in question has recently received large funding from a nationally recognised brand in the automotive industry, offering them excellent security for a start-up company. They are looking to expand rapidly over the next year and have over 20 hires planned. This is a great chance for the Data Engineer to come in on the ground floor of what is destined to be a very successful company!

The Role

The Data Engineer will be required to collect and analyse data streams from the ECUs on certain cars, in order to relay that information on to Developers and Electronics Engineers, so that they can create the product to suit. The Data Engineer will work with On-Board Diagnostic devices on a daily basis in order to do this.

The Requirements

This isn't an everyday role - it's a cutting-edge product and as such, they are looking for someone who wants to do the role, more than someone who currently does this. The requirements that need to be met for the Data Engineer role are:

- An understanding of electronics - any experience with ECU/OBD would be great!

- Experience programming software is desired

- Any previous experience with auto diagnostic software would be advantageous

What Next?

If you feel the Data Engineer role is an exciting next step in your career then please get in touch today! Need more information? - We're more than happy to answer calls on this role and discuss it further.
