Customer Support Engineer
An international leader within payment solutions due to growth are looking for an experienced Customer Support Engineer to support a their client's site in Newtownabbey
Reporting to the Service Manager, the successful individual will be responsible for providing onsite support for the customer which will include the service, repair, preventative maintenance and installation of their larger cash management and banknote security systems, working to strict SLA?s and resolving technical issues with support of technical support if needed.
You will be qualified to ONC / OND or above within Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or a related subject and be able to demonstrate previous commercial experience of working within a customer support capacity, working on the service, repair, and installation of large cash management / bank note security systems, large industrial printing equipment, high speed special purpose equipment / machinery of similar equipment.
Have a general all round understanding of mechanics, electronics, software, and IT: Experience of basic fault finding down to component level using hand held test equipment as well as possess a full clean UK driving licence.
Experience of working within a high speed manufacturing environment would be desirable but not essential.
Individuals who have had a background within the Armed Forces would be of distinct interest to our client.
The successful individual will be required to work hours that fall between 6 am ? 2 pm Monday ? Friday, then provide cover between 2 pm - 6 pm
This position is offering a salary of £25,500
Response allowance £3,000
Up to £1000 salary increase on passing probationary period.
