Marketing data and Insights Manager required by a rapidly growing software vendor.

You will have a background in marketing data as either a data planner, data campaign executive or similar and would love the opportunity to further develop your data skills in a role that is both hands on and strategic. You will be looking for a role which encompasses campaign insight, plus data strategy and targeting.

The ideal candidate must have some direct marketing experience/exposure. You will need to have strong analytical skills and be highly numerate, ideally with experience of using Salesforce and Excel.


Work closely with the marketing team to ensure the target audience for all communications is appropriate and relevant
? Use various business software including Datanyze (technology), DueDil & Hoovers (company info), LinkedIn (contacts), Salesforce (CRM) and become a highly proficient user of each and train others in the marketing and sales teams
? Responsible for end to end campaign data management of marketing campaigns
? Use existing data and tools to provide analysis and insight
? Use external tools to provision data for new campaigns
? Working with stakeholders to understand requirements, you will then create data for the campaigns
? Formulate selections and segmentations for accurate targeting
? Analyse campaigns to ascertain what has worked well and make recommendations on how to improve future campaigns

Education and Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree, ideally in Direct Marketing, Business, Economics, or Analytics
? Strong analytical skills and confidence in utilising data in Excel and other tools
? Demonstrated attention to detail
? Proficient in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word or G-Suite
? Experience of a corporate environment where targets and KPIs are key to the success of the business

Skills & Experience Requirements
? Strong communications skills as you will work closely with numerous parties
? A strategic understanding of how to best utilise data for successful marketing campaigns and provide insights into data for each campaign.
? Experience of using campaign management or analytics tools would be beneficial
? Have an understanding data compliance and GDPR and how this with impact all marketing data and campaigns.
? Experience manipulating and analysing data for marketing - using Excel and Salesforce
? Ability to select / run segmentations for data for marketing campaigns
? Understanding of web analytics would be beneficial but is not essential.
? Data extraction and manipulation from our data systems, manipulation of large volume of data to establish actionable insights/models and deliver marketing recommendations
? Build out recipient lists using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce and other chosen tools
? Spend time looking at data providing recommendations, trends and other insights
? Application of data for campaign analysis and optimisation, attribution modelling, ROI, and A/B testing
? Set data rules to ensure that the data stays in good health
? Understand goals in relation to analytics and reporting
? Advanced understanding and experience of using Excel for analytical/ statistical reporting, including using API and Pivot tables when necessary.
