Lovely, warm and friendly school environment

This enlightened school has lost their maths wiz and they are hoping to replace them with a positive thinking graduate - a graduate who wishes to become a primary teacher in the near future would be even better.

The school is a fast paced place of learning and you will be whipped up by the energy in the school walls. The teaching team are full of beans and the headteacher is always keen to find staff with the right attitude and the right level of commitment.

Based in Greenwich, South Central London, this lovely primary school offers an exciting and highly regarded education to circa 700 young people. The school is massively oversubscribed and is so every academic year.

This teaching assistant role will require a graduate who is confident in the field of maths - a maths graduate would be perfect but if you have a strong a level in maths and any degree will suffice.

Your role will be based heavily within the KS2 team. You will be offering targeted intervention in maths both in class and with small groups and individuals. You will be an able part of the team and you will have the ability to hop between age and ability levels at the drop of a hat.

Ideally, you will have a 1st or 2:1 degree, matching GCSE and A-Level grades, and a desire to train as a primary teacher. The school is part of a teaching alliance and you will have the chance to start a salaried teacher training programme from September 2018.
