Our luxury brand automotive client are looking for a Business Improvement Engineer for a long term contract based in Gaydon, West Midlands.

The role will be based at Gaydon with frequent travel to Whitley. You will manage process improvement projects using formal project management techniques to ensure delivery on time. This will include complex cross functional situations. Facilitate the design of effective and efficient processes to the standard format using lean principles. Facilitate the effective implementation and sustenance of change through the use of formal change management techniques. Provide a structured approach to solving business problems in order to develop more effective and efficient ways of working. Leadership of other Process Consultants and Graduates on specific projects as required. Predict benefits delivery and track against them to ensure that they are realised.

Skills Required:

  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Cross functional facilitation skills (of process re design in a complex environment)
  • Project Management

The successful candidate will have proven ability to deliver against targets within challenging environments. Ability to influence outside of direct responsibility and beyond own function via stakeholder engagement, strong customer mind-set Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent facilitation skills Experience in process and work system thinking and deployment Project experience High levels of energy and engagement.
