EJ151 - Senior Project Engineer
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer on behalf of our clients.
The role is split between site and the office providing varied day to day duties and responsibilities. You will be involved in all aspects of the business from engineering solutions to pricing and profit analysis.
This role would suit ex-military personnel however, candidates from all backgrounds will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Dealing with section 38, 104 and 278 agreements.
* Project managing multiple civil engineering projects.
* Undertaking desk based studies into roads and sewer infrastructure.
* Conducting site investigation works, inspections and compiling reports.
* Liaison with local council and water company.
* On site supervision / management of civil engineering works.
* Obtaining sign off of the works.
* Reviewing tenders and works quotations.
* Commercial assessments, valuations and costing of works.
* Contractor liaison.
* Managing junior staff and engineering.
* Client management.
* Surveying.
* Review / production of CAD drawings.
* Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations.
* Compiling and submitting required documentation.
* Solving civil engineering problems.
* Delivery of key works under deadlines.
* Client liaison.
* Business development.

Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in project management.
* Residential house building background is preferable.
* Experience in dealing with s38, s278 and s104.
* Experience in highways and sewers.
* Technical understanding and documentation skills.
* Knowledge of CAD.
* Understanding of current industry trends.
* Competent in Microsoft Office.
* Full UK driving Licence.
