Trainee Technical Support Consultant

Pinewood Technologies Plc, one of the UKs leading providers of Dealer Management Systems, are currently seeking to employ a driven, enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Technical Support Consultant.

We are looking for dynamic candidates that have an interest in IT and a real passion for problem solving and customer care. Candidates will ideally have a positive attitude and be keen to learn new skills and systems in a fast paced and ever changing environment. Previous experience working in a customer service based role is an advantage, the role would be ideal for an individual looking the take their first steps on the career ladder in the IT industry.

The Technical Support team based in Annesley, Nottinghamshire, and supports Britain?s largest network of car dealerships. In this role you will act as the first port of call for system users across the UK, assisting them with a variety of technical issues and queries. As a Trainee Technical Support Consultant, you will be responsible for handling user queries that range in complexity, from simple ?how-to? questions, through to solving technical problems using your own knowledge of the system(s).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming phone calls, emails and online chats from our customers in a timely and professional manner, regarding a variety of IT issues such as email problems, operating system queries, password resets and specific software problems, to name a few.
  • Ensuring users will be dealt with in a timely manner and dealing with existing cases promptly.

Salary and Benefits

  • A starting salary of up to £16k per annum + 5% annual bonus

Hours of Work

  • 37.5 hours per weeks on a three shift Rota
  • (7am ? 3.30pm, 9am ? 5.30pm and 10.30am to 7pm)

Some occasional weekend and bank holiday work is expected to meet business demands
