IT Support Engineer | Sussex | Negotiable Salary
Due to recent internal promotions this South East based IT service provider, specialising in Office 365, Azure solutions and digital transformation, are seeking an ITI Support Engineer to join their team. They are a multi-award-winning company with over 30 years of experience in the industry and are a Microsoft selected partner driving business benefits through cloud solutions.
They are looking at contracts of three months, though there are long term and even permanent options possible for the right candidate.
The role consists of remote support, primarily 1st and 2nd line based, for a group consisting of two sister companies with multiple offices around the UK and USA. The ideal IT Support Engineer will have working experience with or a working understanding of the following:
- Server 2012 R2 remote desktop cluster management over 4 separate terminal servers
- Exchange server 2010 & 2013
- Troubleshooting Issues with office suite 2013
- Contacting external CRM providers for assistance
- Knowledge of Mimecast Services
- VMware management
- Veeam backup
- Group policy management
- Active directory management
- Draytek Router management
- Site to site VPN configuration
Good customer service skills and a genuine passion or interest for the used tech stack are obviously advantageous.
For the contracted period the successful IT Support engineer will receive a competitive rate, travel expenses, full training and support and the opportunity to extend the contract on agreement by both parties. The benefits and rate would then be revised on this decision.
