My Client is a highly dynamic and successful consultancy providing leading best of breed IT hardware, software, networking and solutions. They are seeking a Unified Communications Architect with excellent in-depth technical network knowledge and experience within enterprise scales organisations designing and delivering solutions.

The Unified Communications Architect has a focus on transforming the business, with primary areas of responsibility including definition of strategy to meet business requirements, creating high level designs and creating roadmaps to deliver transformation and change. In addition to defining the strategic direction, you will be responsible for supporting Engineering to deliver the change.

Services you will be responsible for strategy, design, implementing and supporting include, but are not limited to: Enterprise Telephony, Contact Centre, Switchboard, Conferencing (Audio, Video, and Web), Telepresence and Chat.

·You will have considerable first-hand experience of defining and communicating a strategic approach, design engineering and building sustainable and scalable solutions, ideally within finance or investment environment.

·You will have the ability to co-ordinate and work with internal stakeholders as well as third-party vendors, building excellent relationships with them

·Develop and implement a Technical assurance approach which provides confidence to stakeholders and ensures the value of your proposed changes is achieved

·You will be expert at leading and resolving complex incidents and problems

·You will have an attention to detail in everything you do along with a natural willingness to help your customers and colleagues.

·You will be familiar with a variety of testing tools, networking technologies and techniques to accurately troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems associated with the service, application and network hardware and software.

Your Technical skills and experience will include but not be limited to:

·Cisco Unified Communications Manager (10.5 +)

·Cisco Voice Gateways, gatekeepers, & IOS

·Cisco Jabber integration

·Cisco Unified Unity Connection

·Contact Center technologies (e.g. UCCX, UCCE)

·Experience with Video conference room technologies – AV/VC, Telepresence

·Experience with IPTV and Digital Signage

·Voice recording, e.g. Redbox and/or NICE

·Experience with global numbering design

You will have the following certification or demonstrable working experience:

·Cisco CCIE Collaboration

·Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) or CCNP-Voice

·ITILv3 foundation or higher

You will have the ability to work without supervision whilst having the ability to identify tasks and manage them effectively, work under pressure to tight deadlines. You will also have excellent problem management and customer service skills.
