Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a commercially aware and dynamic Management Accountant for a leading and successful manufacturing business in Sheffield. As a result of an internal promotion, they are needing to recruit an additional qualified or late part qualified accountant to strengthen the team.

You will have responsibility for assisting this team with the Costing, Budgeting, forecasting as well as understanding variances on both the operational and commercial side of the business. You will work closely with external parties and internal stakeholders to drive the right financial outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:-

*Responsible for all month end tasks including full production of Monthly Management Accounts
*Development spend analysis/ reforecast
*Costing
*Variance Analysis
*Monthly P&Ls
*Profit calculation
*Responsible for the preparation of Budgets and Forecasts
*Attend and participate in monthly management meetings
*Co-ordination of Budgets and monthly rolling forecasts
*Internal controls and approval processes.

To be successful for this role you MUST have the following skills and attributes:-

- Ideally CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified but late part qualified candidates will also be considered
- 1 or 2 years post qualified experience
- Management accounting experience covering aspects such as forecasting, reporting, variance analysis ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in manipulating data within excel

This will be a varied and commercially focused role which will allow the successful individual to have real autonomy and will be able to influence future business decisions.
