Contract type: Permanent

Remuneration: Up to £35,000 (dependant on skills and experience) + company benefits

Building on the success of our existing team, we now have an exciting opportunity for an Account Broker to join us in Milton Keynes.

The role will suit candidates that are seeking the opportunity to progress within their Insurance career and who enjoy building strong client relationships. The role offers great career opportunities in an established brokerage.

You will need to be able to provide excellent customer service, build and retain rapport and successfully manage a number of brokers and insurers with high net worth policies.

What will I be doing?

To assist in the retention and placement of MNW/HNW Household and Motor on behalf of partner brokers and Insurers and generate revenue for the Broking Desk in line with agreed targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that broker presentations are actioned and administered in a timely and efficient manner
  • To ensure that quotations via the Broking desk are delivered on time with all the relevant information
  • To assist in interpreting Broker needs and provide solutions
  • Liaising with Partners and insurers ensuring opportunities are maximised
  • To ensure the correct recording of all Broking Desk placements
  • To assist with the preparation of Management Information as required
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to
  • To assist in achieving annual revenue targets for the Broking desk

What will I need?

  • 5 years' experience within a broking environment- Essential
  • Experience dealing with high net worth personal insurance policies- Essential
  • Previous experience within underwriting- Desirable
  • Good communication and IT skills
  • Cert CII qualified- Desirable
  • Acturis knowledge- Desirable
  • A good team player
  • Excellent organisational skills
